Z. Perry-Hodges,
LCSW (They/Them)

  • Z is a trans, queer, and neurodivergent licensed clinical social worker practicing in Tennessee, Georgia, and Illinois. They also work as a therapeutic coach serving LGBTQIA+ clients across the U.S. and beyond.

Z prides themself on forming strong connections with their clients, championing them in the various stages of their identity development and lives. They have often been called “the ultimate hype man” and lead with a directive, down-to-earth, and approachable style.

Currently, Z works primarily with transgender, queer, and/or neurodivergent clients. However, they also work with people outside of these identities who are seeking support and healing through an embodied, liberated approach.

Z practices therapy from a decolonized, anti-racist, culturally-conscious, and trauma-sensitive framework. They incorporate elements of narrative, expressive, and integrative therapy models, collaboratively coming up with approaches that work for each client.

Z brings 15 years of social work experience into the therapy space including advocacy, community action, direct-care, and leadership roles, most often collaborating with marginalized, low-resourced communities. They are also certified in trust-based relational therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), substance use and process addictions, trauma-informed treatment, and organizational development and leadership.

In their free time, Z enjoys DMing Dungeons & Dragons, curating playlists to match their mood (screaming Chappell Roan in the car), drinking iced chai lattes regardless of the weather, watching food competition shows with their spouse, listening to 90s country, and being a cat dad to three (very cute but mostly bad) cats.

Cheyenne Perry-Hodges, Certified Somatic Practitioner (She/Her)

  • Cheyenne is a certified somatic practitioner and integrates elements of CBT into her practice.

As a queer, disabled, chronically ill, and neurodivergent person, Cheyenne strives to continually decolonize and reindigenize her mind, body, and practice so she can work with clients from an anti-colonial, anti-racist, and trauma-sensitive framework.

Cheyenne has an autoimmune disease (celiac) and is extremely passionate about working with folks who have chronic illness, chronic pain, disability, and those who are still COVIDing. Cheyenne works with women, femmes, and non-binary folks, especially those at the intersections of disability, neurodivergence, and chronic illness/pain.

Cheyenne is originally from East Tennessee and deeply believes in the magic of Appalachia. Cheyenne owes much of her own values to that of the community-minded, rural Appalachians who have influenced her life.

In her free time, Cheyenne likes to read spicy romantasy with morally-gray leads, watch cozy YouTube videos, try new coffee shops, watch Studio Ghibli movies, scroll on TikTok (RIP), kiss her three black cats on their little foreheads, and hang out with her spouse.

Laura West,
LCSW (She/Her)

  • Laura is a pansexual and neurodivergent licensed clinical social worker practicing in Tennessee (fully licensed) and Georgia (practicing under supervision).

Laura’s therapeutic style is warm, kind, and honest, and she is skilled in empathetically challenging folks according to their goals and values. She uses a person-centered approach that cultivates genuine connection, embodiment, and empathy for oneself and others. Laura creates an inviting space where clients can show up authentically without fear of judgment.

Laura is passionate about trauma-focused work, and she specializes in supporting clients through traumatic experiences, childhood trauma, chronic or ongoing trauma, PTSD, C-PTSD, and more. She also specializes in LGBTQIA+ issues, neurodivergence including ADHD, autism, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) as well as mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar.

Laura practices from a decolonized, culturally-sensitive, and trauma-informed framework, and she is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure-Response Prevention (ERP), and more. Laura understands that each client is unique and may require a combination of approaches to facilitate healing and growth.

Throughout her career, Laura has served as a program supervisor, intern supervisor, and therapist in both in-patient and out-patient settings. She has provided care most often to low-resourced, diverse communities, delivering human-centered services to children, adults, and families.

Outside of therapy, Laura spends much of her time raising her super cool son (not a weird boy mom) and hanging out with her partner, their cat, Atticus, and their dog, Tate. Laura is also a skilled special effects makeup artist, loves to swim, and creates intricate diamond art. She is also a foster parent and is passionate about providing a safe and loving home to children in need.
